things...

Things have been happening so fast and I just don't seem to be keeping up with them. We have got Bugg moved to Eugene. She has a great little apartment, a new job at Sears in the Gateway Mall, Oriented to College at Lane Community and registered for her first term of College. WOW! All that in just a couple of months. The last three in the last two weeks. Such a girl. So proud of her. She is growing up so fast, becoming such a young lady, strong and independent. She got in a car wreck last week as well. Some fella rear ended her and she has dealt with the insurance and getting it fixed and all of that without me being there. It seems rather weird, but prideful at the same time. Cause you do this...raise them to be independent and strong and know what to do when something happens... but yet realize you aren't really needed like you were before. It is a little bit different. Peanut has taken soccer camp, done daily doubles, tried out for Varsity, made Varsity, sprained her ankle, didn't practice with Varsity for a week, started school, played her first Varsity Soccer game as a Sophmore, went to her first dance as a Sophmore, and is busy with leadership stuff. Team bonding today with the varsity soccer girls, they went to a game in Eugene, went shopping at Woodburn and then to a game in Portland. So busy that girl, but still such a good kid. Can't complain. Hubs is geared up for hunting, counting down the days to go. He is ecstatic, his time away. He was off work for nearly 3 months with his arm injury and surgery, diagnosed with Diabetes, saw the doctor more than he has in the first part of his 45 years, now....He is ready for his Hunting trip. Wishing he could find a job that made him truly happy. I love my work, I love taking care of people, making them feel better, more comfortable with what is happening in the midst of something that isn't necessarily in their control. I love working on the Foundation. We are raising awareness for the tumor bank across the state. Will be heading off the campaign in the Dalles here in a couple of weeks. Working hard on the Bosom Ball and getting it ready for a fabulous event. IT is exciting work, knowing you are doing something that can truly impact other people and the lives they live.
